This a very good eatery for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is Salvadorean but there are several American-style breakfasts as well. I highly recommend the corn atole, a not overly sweet pureed drink. Delicious! Often times they also have a pineapple atole which contains, logically enough, bits of pineapple. Of the two atoles, I prefer the corn atole. I find the pineapple atole heavily spiced and too sweet. On my last visit, I ordered a plate with pancakes, a hefty hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and a round of sausage. A very decent price, especially when compared to other local diners. I have to do a shout-out for the scrambled eggs. I don't know how they prepared them, but they were especially tasty! Casual atmosphere with lots and lots of tables. You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring your food out to you.

Lived next to here for years and never thought of stopping by until some rave reviews from coworkers and friends. Finally stopped in for a quick dinner and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The place felt very clean and the ladies working there were extremely helpful, sweet and patient while we looked over the menu with questions. We tried several dishes including the Pollo Guisado, pupusas, chicharrón and baleadas. Everything was good to great! Felt like Spanish soul food, home cooking. Husband went back the next morning for tamales which were good.

Went here after going to the soccer shop with my son located just a few shops down. Didn't know what to expect. It had an authentic diner like atmosphere. With that being said the food was surprisingly good. We got the breakfast sampler and some chorizo tacos with a pupusa on the side. I wasn't disappointed. Probably going to try the soupa a res next time. Highly recommend if your looking for a nice authentic diner like atmosphere place to eat. Bang for the buck.

It was a Saturday night and most fast casual restaurants (and Trader Joe's) were closed. A friend mentioned a Vietnamese place may be open in the plaza and it had relocated. Multiple cars out front and welcoming lights made this my best choice. ...and it was! The shrimp surprised me from its light char, succulent meat, and a sauce I wish they sold on the side (it was too good - more was needed). I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. The tres leches cake was ...ok. ...but I will return for this shrimp dish!

I am always satisfied with my food, this past weekend was no different. I enjoyed the cheese pupusas. The beans and rice are always flavorful. Love the horchata and tres leche cakes!

San Miguel Cafe is a great local place. I was in today for their $10 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet and I was very impressed. They have a huge selection of food available. Everything was fresh and delicious. I sampled a wide variety. My favorites were the beef stew and the chicken enchiladas. The tomatillo sauce on the enchiladas was excellent. This location also has a bakery that makes homemade breast and desserts. Unfortunately, I was too stuffed to give dessert a try. I'll definitely be visiting again.
